- It measures time from a fixed start timestamp, so it stays accurate to a hundredth of a second even if the display briefly pauses while your tab is in the background.
- What is a lap or split time?
- Press Lap while the stopwatch runs to record the time since the previous lap. The fastest lap is marked with ⚡ and the slowest with 🐢, which is handy for timing repeated runs, sets or intervals.
- Does it keep running if I switch tabs?
- Yes. The elapsed time is calculated from the original start time, so when you return to the tab the stopwatch shows the correct total.
