How to open CSV files

Microsoft Excel

Double-click the .csv file, or open Excel and drag the file in. Excel auto-detects columns.

Google Sheets

Open Google Sheets → File → Import → Upload the .csv file. Or drag the file directly into a new sheet.

Apple Numbers

Double-click the .csv file to open in Numbers. Columns are detected automatically.

Frequently asked questions

What encoding do CSV files use?
CSV files from DateToolsHub use UTF-8 encoding. If characters appear garbled in Excel, use Data → From Text/CSV and select UTF-8 encoding.
Can I edit the CSV and re-import it?
