How the due date excluding weekends works
This calculator adds a specified number of business days to your start date, skipping Saturdays and Sundays. You can optionally also exclude public holidays for a selected country. The result shows the exact deadline date and time, plus a breakdown of how many weekend days and holidays were skipped.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I calculate a due date excluding weekends?
- Enter your start date, set the SLA unit to 'Business days', and enter the number of days. The calculator will skip Saturdays and Sundays and show you the exact deadline. You can also toggle Saturday or Sunday as working days if your schedule includes them.
- Does this calculator also exclude public holidays?
- Optionally, yes. Choose a country from the Holiday Calendar dropdown and public holidays for that country will also be skipped. Select 'None' to skip only weekends.
- What if my deadline falls on a weekend?
- The calculator automatically moves the deadline forward past weekends. So if adding 3 business days to Wednesday gives you Saturday, the deadline rolls to the following Monday (assuming no holidays).
- Is my data private?
- Yes. All calculations run entirely in your browser. No dates or deadlines are sent to any server.
