This calculator is for planning only. Contract terms, local holidays, and business-hour rules may vary. Always verify deadlines against your specific agreement.
How the SLA calculator works
Enter the start date and time, choose your SLA duration, and the calculator finds the precise deadline. For business-day and business-hour SLAs, it skips weekends and (optionally) public holidays for the selected country. You can configure the business hours window and whether Saturday or Sunday should count as working days.
Frequently asked questions
- How does the SLA calculator work?
- Enter a start date and time, select your SLA duration (in business hours, business days, calendar days, or calendar hours), and the calculator computes the exact deadline. It automatically skips weekends and optional public holidays based on the country you select.
- Does this tool account for public holidays?
- Yes. Choose a country from the Holiday Calendar dropdown and the calculator will skip that country's public holidays when computing business-day or business-hour deadlines. Select 'None' if you don't want holidays excluded.
- What is the difference between business days and calendar days?
- Calendar days count every day including weekends. Business days skip Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. A 5-business-day SLA starting on Monday would be due the following Monday (assuming no holidays), while a 5-calendar-day SLA would be due Saturday.
- Is my data sent to a server?
- No. All calculations run entirely in your browser. Your dates and SLA settings are never uploaded or stored anywhere.
