How the SLA calculator works

Set your start date and time, choose the SLA duration type (business hours, business days, calendar days, or calendar hours), enter the number, and the calculator finds the exact deadline. For business-hour and business-day SLAs, weekends and holidays are automatically excluded based on your selected country and work-week configuration.

Frequently asked questions

What SLA types does this calculator support?
The calculator supports four SLA duration types: business hours (e.g., 8 business hours), business days (e.g., 5 business days), calendar days (e.g., 3 calendar days), and calendar hours (e.g., 24 hours). This covers response SLAs, resolution SLAs, and turnaround SLAs.
How are business hours calculated?
When you select 'Business hours', only time within your configured business-hours window (default 9 AM–5 PM) is counted. If a ticket arrives at 4 PM with a 4-business-hour SLA, only 1 hour is counted that day and the remaining 3 hours continue the next business day.
Does the calculator account for public holidays?
Yes. Select a country from the Holiday Calendar dropdown and the calculator skips those public holidays. This is essential for accurate SLA deadline tracking, since most SLAs exclude recognized public holidays.
Is my SLA data private?
Yes. All calculations run entirely in your browser. No SLA terms, dates, or deadlines are sent to any server.
